Gemma Wood of "being nowhere" has recently completed a Masters degree in creative practice at Leeds Arts University.
Biography
Her research explores well-being, connection and mindfulness. She has created growing installations and immersive environments for festivals and contemporary art exhibitions.
The work is transformative, using philosophy, science and spiritual knowledge to encourage participants to question and rethink their relationship with what it means to be human in this time and space. The results are used to create unique installations that act as a collaborative response to the original brief.
Her workshops bring contemporary art practice to the public arena, with engagement and participation from the production stage to immersive environments at events, always gathering data about the impact.
